(Don\u2019t) Sleep on It<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While tradition states that you should put your child\u2019s tooth under a pillow for the tooth fairy to find, her helpers often find that it can be difficult to retrieve them without waking anyone. Thus, a fun tradition you can begin is helping your child sew their very own tooth fairy pillow to place over the tooth in a safe spot that won\u2019t wake them when it\u2019s retrieved. It may also make it a little easier for mom and dad to remember to retrieve it on time (hint hint)\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phone it In<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Does your child want to hear the tooth fairy speak to them about oral health and other fun teeth-related topics? Provide Tooth-Friendly Treats<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While money under the pillow is customary, for a big loss like a first tooth, you can make it extra festive by supplying some tooth-friendly treats like a new toothbrush, dental floss, kid-friendly toothpaste, and a cool timer to help make counting that two-minute brush time a breeze!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dusty Dollars<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Everything is cooler with a little fairy dust! If you plan on leaving paper money for your child, sprinkle a little glitter on it before you place it under their pillow. After all, the tooth fairy wouldn\u2019t leave just any old money!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Write it Out<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Encourage a love of writing (and get them in the habit of sending thank you notes) in your children by having them write a short letter to the tooth fairy thanking her for their visit and for taking good care of their lost tooth.
